What Is FAST?
The Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST) is a 501(c)(3) organization created by the Electronic Security Association (ESA) and the Security Industry Association (SIA) to promote careers in the physical security technology industry. FAST is dedicated to connecting passionate, innovative professionals with new opportunities in the electronic security and life safety industry. Through a partnership of the industry’s leading associations – ESA and SIA – FAST brings awareness to the career advancement opportunities within the fast-paced technology industry that serves to keep people, places and property safe.

Yes, it really is! Use your SIA or ESA membership coupon code to post your firm’s jobs for free.
I Have Just a Few Jobs to Post
- Use either the FAST 30- or 60-day job posting options
- Again, it’s entirely free
- You manage the job listing
Follow these steps:
- Unlock your 100% discount code available through ESA or SIA and go to the FAST Jobs Board
- Visit the Post a Job page and click through to “buy” a 30- or 60-day job posting
- Log in (if an existing user) or create an account (if a new user)
- Complete the Post/Create a Job form
- Review your order and be sure to add the coupon code before clicking “Complete Order”
I Have Many Jobs to Post
We know that when you have lots of jobs to post, manual posting of individual jobs is not the right approach. That’s why we have tools to make it easy, which can work with your HR platforms and talent management system (TMS) to get a large number of jobs into the FAST jobs board so you don’t have to actively manage it!
Option 1: Automated FTP of Jobs
Your company can automatically FTP jobs to the site, and the system will post them. This might require a little setup work on your IT team’s end to automate posting from your database or TMS, but this is a great option. Here are the details.
Option 2: Custom Spider to Scrape Your Jobs
Rather someone else do the work to pull jobs from your TMS or other systems, or maybe even from your own website’s jobs board? Our jobs board vendor, YMCareers, can build a custom spider/scraper to collect your jobs, ensuring your firm’s jobs on the FAST site are the most up to date. This option is typically $750-1,000 in development cost.
