New platform expands opportunities for job seekers, students and employers while creating a stronger pipeline of talent for the security industry
DALLAS, Sept. 30, 2026 — The Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST) has launched a newly enhanced FAST Jobs Board, providing an improved destination for job seekers to discover career opportunities and for employers to connect with the next generation of talent entering the physical security technology and life safety industry.
The new jobs board is designed to make it easier for professionals at every stage of their careers to find opportunities across the industry, with a particular emphasis on helping students, recent graduates and entry-level job seekers discover pathways into security.
Job seekers can create profiles, explore available positions and apply to roles that align with their interests and experience. The platform also offers tools designed to help candidates stay connected to new opportunities, including personalized job alerts and an easier application experience.
A new Internships page further expands FAST’s focus on building the industry’s future workforce by creating a dedicated destination for students and early-career professionals seeking hands-on experience. FAST encourages security companies to use the platform to promote internships, apprenticeships and entry-level positions that can introduce new talent to the many career paths available throughout the industry.
“Connecting people with real opportunities is one of the most important ways we can strengthen the security industry’s talent pipeline,” said Dr. Elli Reges, Executive Director of FAST. “We want the FAST Jobs Board to be more than a place to search for an open position. We are building a workforce destination where someone who may be discovering our industry for the first time can see the breadth of careers available to them, connect with employers and find a pathway to get started.”
Employers: Build Your Talent Pipeline
FAST is also encouraging security industry employers to create a company account and begin posting open positions. Employer accounts provide companies with a dedicated presence on the platform while helping them connect with professionals actively interested in careers within the security industry.
To encourage companies of all sizes to participate and build a robust collection of industry opportunities, employers can post jobs on the FAST Jobs Board at no cost through December 31, 2026.
Employers are especially encouraged to post positions suitable for individuals who are new to the industry—including internships, apprenticeships, technician roles and entry-level opportunities.
More Workforce Resources Coming Soon
The enhanced jobs board represents the first step in FAST’s plans to create a more comprehensive digital workforce hub for the security industry.
Additional features and resources planned for the platform include a new Technicians Hub, designed to connect individuals interested in technical careers with security integrators seeking new talent. The hub will help prospective technicians learn more about opportunities in the field and identify companies where they can begin or advance their careers.
